Classes on production management, design (set, lighting, costume and sound) and managing your own freelance business will also be introduced during the final year.

All teaching is provided by dedicated, experienced and qualified theatre technicians and stage managers who also continue to work in national and international theatres and are up to date with the latest technology and processes.
This is a two year full time course with a professional diploma qualification from Trinity College Dublin.
The Lir Academy has strong associations with RADA and this course is based on the technical theatre and stage management course available there.
